My husband and I are now snowbirds, living in northeastern CT in the summer and Gulfport FL in the winter. We are both retired, and enjoy playing tennis. Our two sons are grown up; one is married and living near us in FL, the other is engaged to be married this fall. Both sons have chosen lovely young women so we are very happy! Looking forward to seeing everyone at reunion

![]() I have three great kids, two nearby and one in Toronto. My granddaughter Megan, who will graduate from University of GA next year, is interning this summer at NBC in NYC and Ryan heads off to University of South Carolina next month. I lost my husband Ted in August 2016 to early-onset Alzheimer's. I hope to retire and sell the B&B in the next few years but still buy and restore historic buildings for a few more years. I really look forward to seeing everyone and being back in GC! |

Children: Alison (44) was a kindergarten teacher & now mother of 4 boys, and Lauren (41) is a married psychologist & college professor.I retired from my interior design business after more than two decades. My husband of 47 years, Stacy, joined me in retirement 15 years ago. For 20 years I have been an advisor & reader for the Ventura County Community Foundation scholarship funds (rating about 1100 applications a year), and the Notre Dame Alumni Club mentor to applying & newly admitted Notre Dame students, doing college fairs, admit & send-off events, and teaching workshops on campus. I served on the University of Notre Dame’s Admissions Advisory Board for several years, and am currently Vice President of the Cornerstones Board of the Carnegie Art Museum in Oxnard. I do the layout work and proofing for the Livable Communities newsletter for the Ventura County Civic Alliance. Beyond volunteering, my time is filled with interests I share with my husband: we are passionate about contemporary art (collecting abstract organic works), wine (slowly working our way wine tasting through Napa, Sonoma, CA’s Central Coast & Oregon’s Willamette Valley), Mid-Century Modern architecture (Palm Springs’ Modernism Week is a favorite), and classic cars (he restored a 1958 Lincoln Continental convertible and, as members of the National LCOC, we travel all over the US to different meets). I’m also hooked on New York Tmes crossword puzzles, genealogy research, and creating photo books on Shutterfly. |

![]() ![]() Kara and I have raised (think of my travel—yes, she did most of the lifting) three great kids, top students and athletes who each chose to head to Massachusetts for college. Our oldest now works in digital media in NYC; our middle is back in SD with an organic food company; the youngest has just begun his soph year at Harvard. We’re blessed to live in La Jolla where we have two pups and have just taken on raising suburban chickens! I’m an avid reader and love the ocean and the beach. My mom’s still active, lives alone in GC, and plays bridge throughout the week. 6 of my 7 siblings are alive and spread from Manhattan to Virginia to South Dakota. I’ve kept up with Randy Grespin, Bob Mitchell, Joe Berardino, Morgan Chu, and had done so with John Eastburn, whose recent passing still saddens. I look forward to seeing and catching up with many classmates—from GCHS and from many years at St. Joe’s. |
